We have a responsibility at Jordans to make sure that all our products reflect Child safety. We take this very seriously and place much importance in making sure that wherever possible our blinds are supplied with safety products as standard. We also try to make sure that our customers are aware of problems which may arise and that they too join us in our concern.
It is important to keep all looped cords out of reach of small children and to make sure that wherever possible that the cords incorporate a safety device which breaks under load, all designed to be operated safely.
Our trade Association, the British Blind and Shutter Association, has made great strides in promoting our concerns and are keen to promote the simple measures required to make blinds safer.

Child Safety
Safety in the home is a primary concern for us all especially where young children are concerned, so to minimise the risk of unfortunate accidents we recommend the use of child safety options on all blinds such as cord and chain tidy, cord and chain cleat, bell toggle and easy break chain connectors.
